Cisco leidt de markt voor unified communications, aldus Infonetics Research.

Dit schrijft Infonetics in het rapport 'Unified Communications and IP Contact Center Market Share and Forecasts'. De wereldwijde markt voor unified communications, bestaande uit unified messaging platformen en communicatie software clients was in 2008 goed voor 523,4 miljoen dollar. De verkoop van unified communications communicator clients groeide met 47 procent naar 1,4 miljoen.

Cisco is marktleider. Siemens is nummer twee en Avaya nummer drie. Het jaar daarvoor stond Cisco nog op een vijfde plaats.
